WELCOME!

The studio "Tanetz" is a school that provides classic dance training for adults. The technique taught at the school is based on the standards established by Agrippina Vaganova, the great Russian ballet dancer and teacher. No previous training is required to attend classes in our school. Your age, experience and ability matter little in comparison with your enthusiasm and wish to work hard to gain beauty and precision.

The students begin ballet training with the emphasis on barre work, focusing on the muscle development that is necessary to execute basic classic movements. Center floor work accounts for one third of each class.

Students may study either for professional or non-professional reasons, depending on their own interest and potential. In any case ballet classes enhance the students’ health by improving physical and mental discipline, their flexibility, poise, confidence and physical conditioning.

The studio is open to ballet enthusiasts from all over the world: at various times students from Japan, China, Korea, Germany, Austria, Finland and USA received training at our school. Russian ballet prides itself on its achievements, traditions, history and generations of outstanding ballet dancers.
